You are not alone. It’s time to finally feel better!

You are not alone. It’s time to finally feel better!

You are tired…..You’re tired of feeling the heaviness and lethargy of the burdens you have been carrying. No one seems to understand how stuck you feel. Stuck and frustrated that you can’t seem to move past what is holding you back. Maybe you can’t quite identify what that is, the thing holding you back, but it just feels….impossible.

I understand the isolation, heaviness, and fear that comes with holding these heavy burdens for so long. I want to help lighten this load.

You may have tried therapy in the past, and it may or may not have been successful. What makes me different is that I have a lot of different tools in my toolbox. I also put the steering wheel in your hands, so you are in control of where we go. I will challenge you along the way and point out areas for growth, but this process…this relationship…is founded in safety and respect.

Therapy with me looks like: a lot of humor, targeted and specific treatment goals, and the use of highly researched and effective treatment options. It looks like sessions that can be emotionally and physically tough, but leave you feeling lighter and freer than ever thought possible. Therapy with me looks like a safe space to come each week…to share your burdens with someone who can help you hold them and ultimately work through them.

Molly Roth, M.A., LPC

Many people ask me why I focus on trauma and relationships in my work with clients. The answer to this comes from something I have learned about the trauma itself. Trauma happens when you have an experience that occurs in your life that is too much. Too much for your body…too much for your nervous system…just too much. When these experiences occur, your system does not know what to do with them. They become frozen, fragmented, and warped, leaving you feeling broken, alone, and confused. You become disconnected from yourself, and ultimately others.

The journey towards re-connection is not always easy. Especially if you have been disconnected for a while, it can feel uncomfortable and frightening to start feeling again. This is where I can help. With my extensive training in trauma resolution and the understanding of how these experiences can devastatingly impact your life, I am here to help you re-establish the connection. I am here to help you process the experiences that were too much, too painful, and have left you feeling alone and hopeless.

Trauma looks different to every person and can occur at any point in your life. For example, not getting your needs met as a child, experiencing a natural disaster or near-death experience, or facing on-going stress from work. However, what all these experiences have in common is that something happened that significantly changed you. Changed your worldview, your trust in others, and yourself, your ability to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

I can help you to see that light again. Together we can help you heal.
